The wind sails over the water’s surface

I'm dreadful at updating this journal of mine, aren't I? I knew it wouldn't be a good idea to keep one.

I spent a few days in the city, mostly to attend LOVELESS, though I must admit, it's wonderful how easily persuaded some of the 2nd Class officer's are. Or more specifically, one of them. It was lovely having company during my stay. I suppose I should leave his name out of this... I'm quite sure he would appreciate it, at any rate.

Since I've returned, I've been doing paperwork mostly, which must be done but is far less than enjoyable. There are plenty of other things I could be doing with my time than the monotony of filing things. Though I was able to spend some quality time with Angeal - something I've been craving lately.

Perhaps tomorrow will be spent training... Unless of course something else comes up. Or if the air conditioning isn't fixed.

For now, I think sleep is beckoning me.

Sephiroth convinced Angeal to start a journal and I knew it would only be a matter of time before he got to me, as well.

I do not understand the point of writing down one's thoughts for others to read, especially when you have someone you can already speak to them about (and especially when there are some you would rather keep those thoughts from) though I suppose I'll give this a go.

It's been boring since Angeal has been away in Salkia. He'll be pleased to know that I've actually been going on my missions while he's been on his vacation, I'm sure. I spent eleven hours out in the rain today, which was far from desirable, I must say. A warm blanket and LOVELESS are quite welcome at the moment.

I really should rest soon, as I must rise early again in the morning.
